Repairs & Maintenance

Worn every day.
Cared for at our bench.

Most repairs are done in-house in Odessa — your piece stays with our jewelers instead of being shipped across the country. Bring it by the showroom and we’ll look at it with you.

What We Do

Repair work, handled in Odessa.

  • Ring sizing

Sized up or down in gold, platinum and silver, with the shank re-finished so the seam disappears.

  • Prong retipping & rebuild

Worn prongs rebuilt and stones re-seated before anything has a chance to fall out.

  • Stone tightening & replacement

Loose stones checked and tightened; missing stones matched and replaced.

  • Chain & clasp repair

Broken links soldered, weak clasps replaced, necklaces shortened or lengthened.

  • Pearl & bead restringing

Hand-knotted restringing so strands hang and move the way they should.

  • Rhodium plating

White-gold rhodium plating to bring back the original bright finish.

  • Watch batteries & bands

Battery changes, band sizing and pin replacement while you wait when possible.

  • Polishing

A full polish to lift scratches and wear, including appraisal-ready polishing for insurance.

How It Works

Simple, and you always see the estimate first.

  1. 01

    Bring it in

Walk in during showroom hours — no appointment needed. We inspect the piece with you at the counter.

  2. 02

    Written estimate

You get a clear price and timeline before any work starts. Nothing happens until you approve it.

  3. 03

    Pick it up

Most repairs take a few days to two weeks. We clean and inspect everything before it goes back to you.

Caring For It

Keeping your jewelry wearable.

Every six months

Bring your rings in for a free cleaning and prong check — it is the single best way to avoid losing a stone.

Take it off

Remove rings for gardening, gym work, cleaning products and swimming pools. Chlorine is hard on gold alloys.

Store it separately

Diamonds scratch everything, including other diamonds. Soft pouches or a lined box keep pieces apart.

Clean it gently

Warm water, mild dish soap and a soft brush. Skip abrasive pastes and ammonia on treated or porous stones.
